Our company is committed to carrying out ship recycling activities in accordance with national and international regulations, environmental protection principles, occupational health and safety rules, and ethical working standards.
At every stage of our operations, we consider the safety of our employees, environmental protection, sustainable recycling, and customer satisfaction as our top priorities.
1. QUALITY POLICY (ISO 9001)
Our company undertakes to:
• Conduct ship recycling activities in a planned, controlled, and traceable manner,
• Meet the expectations of customers, official authorities, and relevant stakeholders,
• Ensure continual improvement in operational processes,
• Perform safe and efficient operations through ship-specific risk assessment systems,
• Improve service quality through trained and competent personnel,
• Maintain effective documentation, traceability, and record-keeping systems,
• Manage all operations in a traceable manner from ship acceptance to the final recycling process,
• Comply with the Hong Kong Convention (HKC) and relevant international ship recycling standards,
• Apply a risk-based thinking approach throughout all processes,
• Keep subcontractor and supplier activities under control within the quality management system,
• Develop digital recording and reporting systems.
2. ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY (ISO 14001)
Our company undertakes to:
• Control environmental impacts arising from ship recycling activities,
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in compliance with applicable legislation,
• Ensure the controlled removal of asbestos, ODS, TBT paint, and other hazardous materials,
• Prevent marine, air, and soil pollution,
• Carry out waste recovery and disposal processes in a traceable manner,
• Implement improvement activities aimed at reducing energy and natural resource consumption,
• Remain prepared for environmental emergencies,
• Prevent risks of marine pollution that may occur during ship dismantling activities,
• Ensure segregation of hazardous materials at their source,
• Establish effective response systems against spills, leakages, and environmental emergencies,
• Develop sustainable practices to increase recycling rates,
• Regularly monitor and continually improve environmental performance.
3. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY (ISO 45001)
Our company undertakes to:
• Prioritize the health and safety of employees above all activities,
• Control risks related to hot work with gas cutting torches, confined spaces, lifting operations, and falling parts,
• Implement critical safety rules such as “No Working Under Suspended Loads,” “Final Holding Check,” and “Gas Measurement,”
• Analyze occupational accidents, near-miss incidents, and nonconformities, and implement necessary corrective actions,
• Support employee participation and provide regular training,
• Make the use of personal protective equipment mandatory,
• Continuously improve the culture of safe working,
• Implement ship-specific risk identification and on-site risk awareness systems,
• Encourage a near-miss reporting culture,
• Apply permit-to-work systems for confined space entry, hot work, and lifting operations,
• Ensure the continuity and availability of emergency equipment,
• Support employees’ right to stop unsafe work,
• Monitor occupational health and safety performance through regular field observations.
4. SHIP RECYCLING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY (ISO 30000)
Our company undertakes to:
• Conduct ship recycling activities in a safe, environmentally responsible, and traceable manner,
• Comply with the Hong Kong Convention, DASR process, and relevant national/international requirements,
• Carry out planned dismantling for each vessel by considering IHM, SRP/GDP, and ship-specific risk assessments,
• Manage the dismantling, segregation, temporary storage, and disposal processes of hazardous materials in a controlled manner,
• Specifically assess risks related to hot work, confined spaces, lifting operations, falling parts, and fire during dismantling operations,
• Supervise subcontractor activities within the scope of the ship recycling management system,
• Maintain records of the entire process from ship acceptance to final waste recovery/disposal stages,
• Develop sustainable ship recycling practices based on the safety of employees, the environment, and facility security.
